If you feel like sun bathing on the deck, Shockwave has two lounge chairs for your use. You can enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the white rocking chairs, a simple pleasure!

For indoor entertainment there is a wide array of family movies to choose from and they can be enjoyed on a 40" flat HD TV with Time Warner Cable. There are board games for family fun and the walks on Oak Island's beautiful beaches are a must!

The kitchen is open and very well equipped to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will find all you need to easily prepare those meals while staying at Shockwave.

When you visit Shockwave, there are several beach chairs, beach umbrellas, kids beach toys to use while enjoying the sunny days. These are kept in an outdoor storage bin, waiting to be used!

If you've forgotten something, never fear, the convenience mart is close by and within walking distance.
